A New Beginning (April Update)

Hello everyone! ❤ As always it is a pleasure being here to talk to you again. I have some VERY important news.

A lot of things are going to be happening soon, and I just wanted to get you guys on board and synchronized with were the channel is going and what new things are going to happen.

First of all, I am moving back to Dallas, Texas starting April 16th. Yeap, after living in San Antonio for 4 years, I am finally moving back. This time, I got a job offer that I couldn’t refuse. I will be working in logistics for a company and will be earning a good amount of pay. Not only will this allow me to have my own place, but it will allow my mother and sister to live under my roof. I will also have money to afford to finish my education, as well as invest in AddictedPro.

Speaking of investing in AddictedPro, I wanted to address a couple of things about the channel and about the content I provide.

After serious consideration, I realized that editing 20-hour playthroughs into 20 minute clips is not only very time consuming, but also it didn’t yield the results I wanted. It feels like I am mass-producing videos instead of making a few and very meaningful videos. It feels like I have become quantity over quality. Therefore, I will be making another YouTube Channel, and will be uploading the Twitch Streams without editing.

On the AddictedPro channel that you all know, I will be making highlight videos per playthroughs. A kind of 10-minute summary of all the funny/interesting/crazy moments that happened when playing a game. Not only will this be easy on your subscription feed, but it will also be catered to the people who do not have time to watch a full playthrough. In the end, I think I will just add a link in the description if people do like the highlights, and do want to enjoy the full game.

Also, future projects like montages, tutorials, and such will not be hidden under piles and piles of playthrough videos.

I will begin this new YouTube process after I finish moving in late April.

Along with this new YouTube content, I will be investing in a better website using Squarespace. It is a little bit more expensive, but it will make ALL of my content incredibly accessible to you guys. It will also make it easier for you guys to connect with me even more (crazy, right?!).

With the new website, I will also be uploading a “Reviews” page where you guys can see every game I have played on stream, with a full review (with spoilers hidden/edited out) and a score. This will hopefully give you guys a better idea on what new games to play, and will also provide more content for the stream as more games are explored.

Streams will also continue smoothly, and in fact, it may end in bringing back daily streams depending on what schedule I get in my job. I love streaming, and I love interacting and just seeing you guys have a good time along with me. I will definitely not stop doing what I love the most; that is, seeing you guys. ❤

Now, for “Angel stuff”. Navy is still my end goal, as the benefits severely outnumber the cons. I still won’t be going infantry, so there is no need to fear that I will be going into battle. My education is also important and I hope the new cash influx will definitely help me get my degrees (finally) done with. It has been a while since I could purely focus on that, but that is still a goal that needs to be done. I also will be taking Chiquis with me to Dallas. She will continue to keep us hype through these new and fun times.

As you can see, there is a LOT of new stuff coming, but this is all thanks to the work that not only I, but you guys, have also put in. Every single second, support, interaction motivates me to improve and become better in every little thing I do. AddictedPro moves on to greater and more beautiful experiences, and I hope you guys will enjoy them.

This will more than likely be the last post on this website. I hopefully will remain with AddictedPro.org and just the layout and content will change. I will also be transferring every single post and content from this onto the new website. I am very hyped and excited for what is to come! Let’s go! Together we shall accomplish great things!
